Adriana Vera

Born in Veracruz, Mexico, my artistic journey began while studying Graphic Design, where i explored a wide range of artistic techniques and visual languages.

After working across various styles, from abstraction to realism and pop art, I found my voice in portraiture.

My work combines the human figure with textured, layered backgrounds that act as visual memories. Marks, scratches, stains and fragments of text become symbols of lived experiences, revealing stories that often remain unseen.

I believe every person carries a unique narrative shaped by victories, struggles, dreams and scares. Through my paintings, I aim to capture not only a likeness, but the depth and complexity of the individual behind it.
